Where are located?

We are located at 105 Hill Street, Wilkes-barre, PA 18702. It’s about a block past the Wilkes-barre Mcdonalds going towards Hazel Street. Click here for map.

Parking

Parking is provided on either side of Hill Street. Additional parking is also provided at the back of the church. Contact us to find out about our shuttle service.

What Can I expect on my first visit?

You can expect a welcoming environment, with friendly members that are eagerly looking forward to making you feel at home and welcome you as part of our family. In addition, you will experience lively worship mediums such music dance and engaging video presentations followed by a compelling message.

Covid - 19 protocols

We are currently following all CDC guidelines as it relates to Covid-19. Our services are open and masks are now optional. We do recommend however, if you are not vaccinated to wear a mask.

What are the times of service?

Two separate services are held each Sunday. The first service begins at 9:30am and finishes at 10:30am. Our second service begins shortly after at 11:00am and continues until 1:30pm.

Where do I take my children?

At Mt. Zion we are always delighted and excited to have the little ones worship with us. We offer several programs and activities for children and youth regular Sunday morning children’s program and our online Living Water Children’s program.

Why do we baptize?

Baptism is a memorial of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Through submersion and emerson out of the water, it also signifies an entrance into the new covenant with Christ. Get more information here.
