Bishop Wallace E. Smith was born in Philadelphia, Pa., to Bishop Wallace W. Smith and Evangelist Bette E. Smith. Bishop Smith's early footsteps with God began when he accepted as his personal Savior at the tender age of 17. In his formative years, he was blessed to have a strong Christian heritage and family . In particular, his father, Bishop Wallace W. Smith who had great influence on his life serving as his mentor and guide. Bishop Smith began to feel the call to evangelism in 1961. He surrendered to the call and was in the Greater Emmanuel Assembly Church.

As a young dynamic and charismatic speaker, whose grasp of the scriptures exceeded his years, Bishop Smith preached across the entire nation, proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel, seeing thousands of souls accept Christ.

In 1999, under the direction of the Lord, Bishop Smith became the Founder and Pastor of New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church, a non-denominational, multicultural Church, located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Bishop Smith married, Theresa Tyler, formerly of Marion, Ohio. With an intense desire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, together they minister life to people from all walks of experience

Artist: Kei-Landa

Bio: The young and talented Kei-Landa Rembert was born and raised in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan. Along with her parents and three sisters, Kei-Landa fell in love with the community and culture of New York City. She was exposed to Christian music and different genres by her uncle. Kei-Landa cites The Ambassador and Cross Movement as some of her musical inspirations earlier on in her life.

Around the age of seven or eight, God gave her a vision of doing music with a quality sound that would reach out to her generation. The ultimate goal was to drive her generation to hear more of the sound that she was producing. She always questioned what was the barrier that kept her generation away from the music that she enjoyed and was passionate about.

A self-confessed church girl, Kei-Landa was raised in the church. As long as she can even remember, music has always been a dream of hers. Besides music, education has also played a major factor in Kei-Landa’s life.

For college, Kei-Landa studied at City College, where she majored in and graduated with a degree in music and vocal performance. Always consistent, Kei-Landa loved to read the Bible and always stood out from her peers by inviting friends to church and remaining true to her beliefs and foundation in Christ. She admitted that college was challenging however. During her time in college, Kei-Landa wanted a deeper relationship with Christ.

Pastor Nathaniel Wright is a native of Ithaca, NY. Pastor Wright began his ministry at the age of fifteen. He was licensed to the ministry on December 8, 1996 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Pastor Wright served on the ministerial staff at Calvary Baptist Church during which time he served as a youth minister. Pastor Wright was ordained on September 28, 2003. He filled the interim pastor role at Calvary in January 2004 and was installed as Pastor on December 11, 2005.

Pastor Wright is a tremendous orator, who is able to connect the Bible to meet the needs of people. This God given ability is evident by the intergenerational congregation that he Pastors.

Pastor Wright is blessed to have a Spirit filled and gifted woman of God as a partner in ministry. He and Stephanie Wright were married on April 26, 2003. They are knitted together to further the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ. They received a precious gift, their son, Malachi Nathaniel Wright, on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Pastor Wright believes that God is looking for those that would worship him and wants to be included in that number and that as Christians we must have an understanding of who God is so that we can better understand our identity.

Shawn Walker has spent 18 years working in corporate America, holding various positions in account management, corporate sales and sales management. This work kept him busy, and provided for his family, he was not necessarily fulfilled. He found fulfillment in his family, especially his children, in coaching and in his work in the ministry.

He has been blessed to serve The First Baptist Church of Wilkes-Barre, where he ministered for 11 years. There he was a part of several ministries that served the community, feeding and clothing the impoverished. He feels especially blessed to be a part of several organizations that go beyond the walls of the church and into the community. Shawn is blessed to continue to serve as the minister at Dr. Edwards Memorial church in Edwardsville.

Shawn also feels privileged to hold a seat on the Wilkes-Barre Area Schoolboard, the first African-American to be elected to the board.

Tim Walker is the Lead Pastor at Restored Church. Originally from Detroit, MI, he moved to NEPA in 2008 to attend Clarks Summit University. After graduating in May 2012, Tim moved to Wilkes Barre with a team of four people to plant Restored Church. Throughout their first six years, they've seen Jesus do amazing things in changing many lives through the power of the gospel. Tim and his wife Heather have been married for 3 years and have a one-year-old daughter named Lucy.

Pastor Albert Morgan’s ministry is a fulfillment of this scripture. He was born to a humble and Christian home. His parents are L. E. and Gloria Morgan of Brotmanville, New Jersey. He was a member of the family church, Friendship Baptist Church, which licensed him to preach in 1976. He received his early education in Cumberland County and graduated from Vineland High School. He graduated from Glassboro State College (Rowan University). Pastor Morgan also graduated from the Philadelphia College of Bible (Cairn University) and has furthered studied at William Paterson College. On November 12, 2016 Pastor Morgan was bestowed an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Augustine Graduate School.

Pastor Morgan was ordained in 1983 by the Bethany Baptist Association of South Jersey. In 1986, he was called to pastor the Union Baptist Temple of Bridgeton, New Jersey. Pastor Morgan continually seeks direction from God on the development of a Christ-centered, holistic and innovative ministry. Building on a Biblically sound foundation, Pastor Morgan has organized, led and facilitated the operation of a fruitful church with over seventy-five ministries. With Pastor Morgan’s leadership, Union Baptist Temple has built a new edifice, instituted the Kononia Bible Institute and the Healing Word Biblical Counseling Center, as well as built the Alms Education and Recreation Center.

Pastor Morgan taught for the Vineland Public Schools, retiring after thirty-three of years of faithful service. He is a former Bridgeton Councilperson, a former member of the Cumberland County Empowerment Zone, past chaplain of the Bridgeton Police Department and former appointee of the Governor’s Commission Adults in Correctional Facilities. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Bridgeton School Board, the chaplain of the Inspira Medical Center, Vineland and the president of the Bridgeton Christian Ministers Conference. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Temple Vision Corporation, the producer of The Awaking Hour, and S.T.A.N.D. Media Ministries. Pastor Morgan functions as the President of the New England Missionary Baptist Convention. He is currently serving as the Interim Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses. God’s Mailman is a well sought after motivation speaker, teacher and preacher.

Reverend Michael E. Brewster is a native of Elmira, NY, but grew up in Philadelphia, PA. At the age of 19, while pursuing a degree at Penn State University, he answered God’s call to preach and teach the gospel. He then transferred to Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) and received his B.S. degree in Bible with emphasis in Christian Leadership. Later, he obtained a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently, he is pursuing a Masters of Divinity with emphasis in Organizational Leadership from Liberty University.

He was licensed to minister the Gospel in 1993 and ordained by the Northeast Freewill Baptist Conference Inc. in 1997. Rev. Brewster became the interim pastor of Mount Zion in 2003, and wasselectedandtheninstalledasMountZion’s21stpastoronNovember14,2004. Since then, Rev. Brewster has helped to establish Mount Zion as a vehicle of positive change by creating a “table of learning” to help facilitate respectful exchange between political, faith and community parties alike to address social and racial disparities within the community.

He proudly served 9 years and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force National Guard as a Public Health Program Manager so that he could pursue the ministry. He is also a proud graduate of Leadership Wilkes Barre (2007) and currently serves on the board of trustees at Wilkes University.

Rev. Brewster has a tremendous passion for God’s word coupled with a love for God’s people. He strongly believes in the necessity of Christian Education for building and equipping disciples of Jesus to carry on the mandates of the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20).

His life scripture is Psalms 27:4 “One thing have I desired of the Lord, and that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”

He is happily married to Stephanie of 20 years and immensely enjoys his two sons, Kendall andKeagan. He enjoys many different genresof music, loves really bad Sci-Fi movies and movie classics..

Sylvia “Small Fire” Holloway was born in Drew, Mississippi and raised in Atlanta, Georgia from the age of 14. She may not have known it right away but getting people to laugh was God’s gift to her from the very beginning. Small Fire says, “Oh Lawd, growin’ up, I was the funny one. I got into a lot of trouble. I would excel in school, get my work done and get real bored, real quick. So, I would joke with the other kids. I’d get into trouble and get others into trouble also, even in church!”

And it was not long after high school that Small Fire started her career as a comedienne with the nick name bestowed on her by an aunt back in Mississippi. She began performing in Atlanta and soon found herself being asked to perform in standup comedy clubs across the country!

Her skill as a stand up comic helped Small Fire develop an impressive resume that includes stints on BET’s Comic View, Showtime at the Apollo, Def Comedy Jam, appearances on television shows like The Wayans Brothers, Teen Summit, and Bobby Jones Gospel and a role in the Disney flick, The First Kid.

Small Fire has proven that she may be petite in stature, but a big time comedy act. She says the pressure of standing in front of a sold-out crowd is nothing compared to continually trying to impress her biggest critic and fan- the Man upstairs.

Getting saved and dedicating her life to God has led Small Fire to change her moral approach to comedy. All of the animation, energy and assertiveness from her comedy club days are still there, but her show’s themes now revolve around the church and family values. “I think people are receptive to comedy in the ministry because it’s not forced on them. You’re laughing and before you know it, something positive just slips into your spirit.” In fact, Small Fire’s humor and southern charm has helped this star continue to rise in her newest role as host of the hilarious, nationally distributed DVD series ‘Holla!’ which features inspirational and family friendly comedians from across the USA.

In 2004, Small Fire was named the Urban Gospel Alliance Comedian of the Year and continues to use her popularity to encourage and educate youth across the country about self-esteem issues, drugs, teen sex, and the importance of staying in school.
